."I love chicken. I would eat chicken fingers on Thanksgiving if it were socially acceptable."

Baked Chicken Tenders & Chicken Fried Rice

If you know my son Jermaine, you know that he LOVES chicken tenders. I believe that he could eat them every day, with or without a side dish. HIs favorite side for the tenders is French fries, but he also likes them with roasted potatoes, veggies, rice or just by themselves.

Recently he has started working out and is focusing on eating better, so instead of frying the tenders, I have started baking them.

This recipe is quick and easy and perfect for a quick weekday dinner. Just season the tenders, bake them and add a side. The dinner can be done in 30 minutes or less. For this post, we had chicken fried rice from Trader Joe's as a quick side dish.

The ingredients and preparation for the chicken tenders are listed below.

Note: You can add more or less seasoning based on your preference. The measurements below are a basic guide. I don't measure seasonings when I cook. I just sprinkle the seasonings until I think it looks right. You can view the making of these tenders on the August June's Kitchen Instagram page or on Tik-Tok.
