Lamb Sliders
This post was written because of the “greedy spirit” as Tabitha Brown says.
For the past few weeks, I have been having a taste for sliders. Something simple, inspired by a cheese Krystal (a small burger with meat patty, cheese, mustard, and onions). Simple right?
So how did I get from a cheese Krystal to a gourmet lamb slider? By me being an extra Leo.
Lamb Sliders
I took a grocery trip to Aldi's this past weekend and picked up some ground lamb. I had the thought the lamb would be tasty in a burger. Then the lightbulb went off - ohhh a slider would be perfect! But the slider had to have sweet and savory components to accompany the flavor of lamb.
The sweet and savory components decided upon were blackberry preserves a savory mayonnaise. Red onion slices of course. Muenster was the selected cheese. Last but not least, something green to finish it off - microgreens. So there you have it - lamb sliders for the win.
